Then you’ve definitely come to the right website.
Before we begin, a quick intro from the Van Life Freedom author…
The Van Life Freedom Author
Hello there fellow van life enthusiast. I’m Joshua.
I’ve discovered the ultimate business model for remote workers.
With this business model, I’m able to:
👉 Own my own van completely debt-free
👉 Survive for several days without wifi
👉 Create semi-passive income online
👉 Run my business from any parking lot
But hey, let’s talk about that later. Back to this gorgeous couple…
The Other Side FAQs (March 2024)
Van Name
I don’t believe they have a name for their van.
Creators
Ian (age 27)
Adriana (age 26) who just goes by the name Ana.
They have been together for 5+ years since their college days.
The Van
They have a very simple Ford Transit van with licence plate K831914. It has a tiny kitchen, no bathroom and most of the bed simply contains their bed.
Upgrades
They installed a water tank, curtains and not much else, choosing to keep things as basic as possible.
Affording It
Both Ian and Adriana used the savings they have to purchase their van for cash. Their van only cost them $6,500 and the total build out was an additional $1,300 on top of that.
Making Money
They make a decent income on YouTube through:
👉 Affiliate links (AirBNB for example)
👉 Running ads on their YouTube channel and blog
👉 Brand sponsorships
👉 Selling presets and filters
👉 Donations via their website
Their net worth is estimated at $350,000 US dollars.
Collabs
They haven’t done any famous collabs.
Location
They are currently in Europe but are returning back to their van soon.
Past Travels
They have traveled extensively throughout SE Asia and Europe, and are now embarking on the Middle East.
Big Moments
They focus on optimism and keeping things real, so they’ve avoided any dangers, troubles or odd-balls while out on the road.
Future Plans
They get married soon and have children.
Key Lessons
What can we learn from this optimistic couple?
👉 Life is too short to work crazy hours
👉 Travel vlogging is still quite untapped
👉 Work on your dreams, not someone elses
👉 Be willing to take calculated risks today
And of course, don’t worry about the naysayers.
Conclusion
I’ve really enjoyed their travel vlogs (especially in Europe) and can’t wait to see them return to the United States and start #vanlife once again.
